The children were treated to a guitar showcase this week from the children receiving lessons from Mr. Luke. We heard some Avril Lavigne, Jingle Bells and a raucous blast of AC/DC. The children showed both great enthusiasm and promise. The ones having just begun their instruction showed real hope for the future! Thanks go to Luke for working so hard with the children. The Juniors have worked ever so hard this week on their concert and performed three times. The dress rehearsal was a useful exercise and paved the way to excellent performances on the Tuesday and Wednesday evening. ‘The Carol of the Animals’ was extremely well received and you can see more by browsing the gallery on the Website. Again, thanks go to Vicky and Chris Sennett as well as Warren Temple for their work in the band. Any additional photographs would be gratefully received.

The Infants’ performance of ‘Whoops a Daisy Angel’ went down a treat this week and was greatly appreciated by the audiences. The tale told of a rather dizzy angel and all of the children acted and sang their hearts out. The costumes looked fantastic and the little ones looked extremely cute. A gallery can be seen on the website and any additional photographs you may have, will be gratefully received.

The members of Tamsin Lloyd Jones' Gym Club gave a virtuoso performance in the build up to Christmas, perfroming a number of routines and skills to Christmas music. Children from the Reception class to Year 6 were involved and showed remarkable team work and organisation.
After their perfromance, they were presented with certificates and badges in recognition of their aptitude.

As has become the custom over the last few years, a group of children visited Fron Yw Nursing Home on Wednesday and performed a selection of carols and songs from our Christmas shows. Mrs Dowell was extremely proud of the way the children behaved and chatted away to the elderly folk: staff said it had really brightened their Christmas Party. Residents were supping a seasonal tipple and the children were treated to juice and cakes, so a good time was had by all!
