Netball v. Pen Barras (A) - Dec 13th

Unfortunately, the netballers must have had Christmas on their minds, as they were well beaten by the taller and stronger Pen Barras team.

Netball v Llanfair (a) - Nov 29th

The girls once again showed the talent at their disposal as the yswept aside the team from Ysgol Llanfair 18-0.  The younger girls were also given the opportunity to play and also won by a margin of 5-1 .

Netball Festival at Denbigh High (Nov 07)

mini-pict0342.jpgThe girls put up a fantastic performance in this festival of 10 local schools and finished as beaten finalists.  After finishing top of their group, after victories over Llanbedr, Esgob Morgan, Rhos Street and a draw against Frongoch, the girls qualified for the semi finals.

They went on to beat Esgob Morgan, before being narrowly beaten by Llanbedr in a tight and exciting game.  Well done to them all.

Urdd Tournament (Oct 07)

The netball’s first team, for the second successive year, reached the semi finals and were extremely unlucky not to be victorious after winning their group, which included Ysgol y Llys, Gwernant and Twm o’r Nant. The girls are pictured below upon receiving their certificates.

Match v. Borthyn (Oct 07)

The netballers did superbly on this occasion, as they comfortably won their match 11-2 with Wednesday and Molly being on fine form in the shooting area.

Match v. Llanbedr (Oct 07)

The girls blew away the cobwebs with their first fixture of the new season against Llanbedr and were narrowly defeated 10-8. They nearly made a stunning comeback as they were 6-0 down at one point. A second game brought a hard fought 3-3 draw, showing much promise. They also wore a new kit and this was sponsored by Liz Griffiths. Once again we are extremely grateful for the contribution made.
