National Urdd Swimming Gala 2008

We received some fantastic news from the Urdd Swimming Gala with both Gordon and Max winning through to the final of their respective events and Lucy swimming superbly also. Gordon got onto the podium, finishing 3rd in the freestyle. Max finished fourth in his back stroke final. What a fantastic achievement and I’d like to congratulate them all.

Urdd Swimming Gala

Once again this year, some children were successful in the Urdd Gala held on Tuesday. Gordon McKie, Lucy Mills, Max Salmon, Oliver Powell Jones, Isaac Ramsey and the Year 3 and 4 boys freestyle relay team all succeeded in winning their respective heats. They must now wait to hear if their overall time was the best, before knowing if they’ve qualified for the national finals in Swansea. Well done to everyone who competed.
