We had a great day at Chirk Castle! We all dressed up as Tudors and completed lots of activities to show the differences between rich and poor Tudors. Highlights were a tour of the dungeon, firing a cannon and seeing leeches in a jar (go to the gallery) As always the childrens behaviour was excellent and they have today posted their thank you letters to the castle staff.

Year 3 and 4 really enjoyed their trip to Liverpool on Thursday, not only did they get to see the world famous Liverpool Philharmonic Orcestra play but they enjoyed a sunny afternoon at Portsunlight Village exploring the grounds and museum. (More photos in the gallery)

As well as taking part in Eco Day and rehearsing for the school play we have been working on a skills based project to finish off our term's theme of water. The children have chosen a task to complete in a small group associated with water and then worked together to plan and complete it. They are working really well and photos of the finished work will be up soon... The projects have been to build a boat, to make a fake aquarium and to design and make a water park.
